Our flagship school supply drive — rescheduled due to weather, see the date below. Every August, we collect thousands of supplies through Stuff-A-Bus and year-round community donation drives, then work directly with local schools to distribute based on each school's unique needs — helping students across York County start the year prepared for success.
Drive Results
2nd Annual Stuff-A-Bus
Every year, Growing Hands for Brighter Futures hosts Stuff-A-Bus to send York County kids back to school with what they need. After last year’s turnout, we’re growing it into a full community celebration — over 55 vendors and community partners so far, including local food trucks, small businesses, and our own Kidpreneur vendors, plus a Kids Zone with bounce houses, a dunk tank, carnival games, and a live DJ.
Final numbers will be tallied after the event concludes.
We collaborate with local schools to understand where support is needed most. Together, we help equip students with the essential supplies they need to succeed in the classroom.

Collecting Donations
